Grace & Style: The Art of Pretending You Have It by Grace Helbig
5.0
So, um the intro. OUCH OUCH OUCH. Poor Grace. I’m super proud of her for coming out and talking about her issues, but was not prepared for it to start that harshly. (Also, content warning if ED stuff is an issue for you)
So I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this book. Grace had talked about being a tomboy as opposed to a beauty guru on Sophia Amaroso's podcast. I’m not a tomboy at all, so I was curious about this book. I loved it. I liked the product tips. I liked the peek into fetus Grace. (Fun fact: My dad was an Avon lady for years). As a lover of red carpets, I really liked the peek behind the curtain. Her mother Teresa’s advice is adorable.
