I love Grace Helbig on YouTube and off YouTube because she's just herself and doesn't change for anyone. She is a great writer and it's great to see her open up at the beginning of the novel was actually amazing. I loved the sweatpants diaries and I think it should have its own spinoff book for kids. Because it is the most adorable thing ever!!! Grace is a great writer I can't wait to read more of her writing!!

I don't care much about makeup or fashion but I really enjoyed this book. Full of personal stories with fashion/style advice with life hacks tossed in there. Funny, approachable, and enjoyable for all.

This is quite truly Grace Helbig at her best (and that's saying something). Between her hilarious, yet surprisingly relatable fashion insights, and the amazingly entertaining "Sweatpants Diary" excerpts (The diary of a pair of sweatpants named Sweat, who goes to the Mall of America school and ends up telling the surprising origin story of Black Friday, including characters like Dr. Scholls, "birk" birkenstock, and Grandma Windbreaker), this is a must read for anyone who loves fashion, but also loves finding the comedy in it.

Great Book
Loved this book and because I watch her you tube channel I could hear Grace's voice in my head! I didn't like the sweatpants diary entries, not sure they added anything to hold my interest in the book. But overall I loved the book!

If I could give this a 3.5 I could, because I did like it a lot, but it was a bit too "stream of consciousness" for me. I love Grace's videos and I wasn't expecting a serious style guide, but it seemed a bit too light in content for me, I guess. Overall I'm glad I bought it because I am happy to support YouTubers whose content I watch regularly, but I didn't love the book as much as I was hoping I would.

I love Grace Helbig and I've been a fan of hers for many years, but I was pretty disappointed in this book. Because I watch her videos and am familiar with her comedic style, I can totally see where she was going with this book, but the humor just did not translate onto the page. I'm sure this book is AMAZING on audio, and I can see many of these bits being super hilarious in a video, but reading the words just didn't capture her verbal delivery. There were many parts I straight up skimmed or skipped with an"alright, I get it" kind of vibe which really made me feel bad because I adore Grace so much, but I honestly felt I was wasting my time reading certain parts of this book. I REALLY enjoyed the "vintage Grace" sections of this book which were stories about her relationship with fashion and style throughout her life and I really wish that more of the book was like this. I would have given a higher rating and enjoyed my entire experience with this book a lot more if she had provided more of these stories. Those sections are really the only reason why I'm not giving this book 1 star. I have yet to read Grace' Guide which I have heard is much more enjoyable, but I'm definitely nervous to pick it up after this read.
In short, skip this title and watch Graces videos OR listen to this on audio instead for a better experience. Sorry, Grace!

If you enjoy her videos, I think you will really like this book! It's funny (in my view). Some people think that her sense of humour doesn't translate well from her videos to her book, but, personally, I think that they do. Funny, honest, and a good read!
