An enjoyable book version of Grace's Favorites and Fashion videos. Super fun pictures and fun silly quotes. I bought this book and don't regret it however I will be sending it on its way to a new reader and bookshelf. Do with this review what you will.

I mean, I wasn't expecting to learn anything new about makeup or fashion, and I didn't, but I still can't help but be disappointed. The most interesting parts of the book were the brief memoir-style bits in the beginning of each section. The rest was her trying too hard to be funny by giving "readings" and making unfunny judgements about lip colors and head shapes.
I think Grace is generally quite funny, but this book didn't have me laughing, it just had me really bored. It also dragged on for way too long. All of this book could have and should have been a six minute YouTube video instead.

I was able to get a signed copy of this book for cheap so woo! I got this book after watching Grace for a few years on YouTube and I always loved her red carpet fashion reviews etc. So why not grab this humorous book about fashion/beauty? I really enjoyed some parts of this book whereas other parts felt meh imo which is why this book gets a 4 star rating. I didn't enjoy the sweatpant diaries until the final 2 since it felt more like a mad libs gone awry. If you're a fan of Grace Helbig or love books that talk about something but not seriously then you should read this one.

Okay, straight up, I did enjoy this book. Especially whenever the author was being authentic/genuine/honest about her experiences. Those parts held the kind of humor and relatability that used to make youtubers feel like actual friends. Parts were really funny and I enjoyed "The Sweatpants Diaries" waaaay more than I thought I would (I mean, come on, the concept seems kinda dumb, yeah?). But a lot of it wasn't my style of comedy and there really wasn't enough... REAL stuff. I wish there was more ACTUAL advice or personal essays mixed in with the abundance of (sometimes very repetitive) fake advice.

Great Book
Loved this book and because I watch her you tube channel I could hear Grace's voice in my head! I didn't like the sweatpants diary entries, not sure they added anything to hold my interest in the book. But overall I loved the book!

This had some funny and also interesting parts and I liked the photography but I also skipped some chapters, because I just wasn't into them.
