Bianca is one of my favorite characters. She blew me away! Bianca is a sociopath! She does not think or feel like ordinary people. She has no regrets and focuses on things. When she saw Theo in her mind he became hers, so she did everything she could to get him. There's nothing she wouldn't do for him or protect her and I can't get over how refreshing it is to read a story like this.

Theo... Well, Theo was a mystery to me. I didn't connect with him until deep in the book and when I did I loved him. He was the link that kept B sane and I loved how she loved him for his flaws. He was so loyal, and loyalty is so rare in romance books these days, even when he discovered who Bianca was, he still couldn't betray her and ended up falling in love with her again; but this time without the smoke and mirrors. It is very refreshing to see an emotional, obsessively psychotic heroine and a hero who is actually sane and honest about the relationship.

Morally Corrupt is a book full of intrigue and suspense. When you think you know what’s going on, you soon find out that not everything or everyone is at it seems. This book is full twists and turns that left me wanting more. I couldn’t put this book down until I knew how it ended.

I loved Bianca and Adrian/Theo! Bianca knew exactly what she wanted and was not afraid to do whatever she could to make it happen. While her methods at times were questionable, I never once doubted the depths she would go to for Adrian. She’s a quirky, fierce assassin and I was immediately drawn to her.

Adrian is a complicated character. He is fiercely protective of his sweet and shy Bianca. When he finds out the truth about his demure wife his immediate reaction is to cut all ties with her. But when circumstances change, he soon realizes that he can’t kick her to the curb. She is his wife, his everything. He also has his secrets and he does not own the moral high ground that he portrays to the outside world.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The plot and world building were fantastic. The character development was outstanding. I was drawn in with the main characters but with the secondary characters, especially Vlad and Marcel. I want to know more about them and their backstory. Hopefully, their stories will be coming soon.

Veronica Lancet is a new author for me and I’m so glad I found her. I loved her attention to detail and how she brought Bianca and Theo to life. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

I receive an advanced reader copy for this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Title: Morally Corrupt

Author: Veronica Lancet

Synopsis: She's an assassin. He's a policeman... And her husband.

Bianca Ashby, a certified sociopath with an obsession for her husband, tries to juggle two lives - the demure NYPD Chief Commissioner wife, and the perfect Bratva assassin; all the while keeping her husband safe and blissfully unaware.
But when high-level corruption and a personal vendetta raise the stakes, no one is who they say they are; least of all Bianca’s perfectly dull husband, Theo.
From glitzy New York ballrooms and charity events to underground sex rings, drugs, and illegal fights, the best pretender wins it all.

Author's note: Morally Corrupt has been re-edited. The story remains the same.
Morally Corrupt is a romantic thriller with elements of horror and gore. This is a dark book that explores questionable moral behaviors. Please read the triggers before proceeding.

Review: I loved Bianca’s she was quite a character and it felt refreshing to read about her! This book had me smiling and flipping the pages! This book was very thrilling and I look forward to read the rest of the authors work! Her writing is addicting and I didn’t want the story to end!  It does have its moments though you should look at some of the triggers before starting this book!

So I loved the role reversal where she is slightly unhinged who am I kidding she total is and you can't help but love her from the beginning and the love she has for Theo perfection.

The only down side was the secrets she kept from Theo in the beginning is the only reason for really a half star removal. The deception made me more sad for Theo and tugged at me through out the story.

She more than made up for it and I will say this story had my attention from the beginning I laughed, I was shocked and I was in love with it all.
