I was a wee bit disappointed in this audiobook. I was excited to hear about Pitch Perfect, which was only mentioned in passing in relation to another event. She didn't really talk about a lot of her movies in depth, but mostly her starting career on Broadway (I didn't know this), how fame hasn't changed her and the drugs she's done.

I really enjoyed this book! It's actually funny and and refreshingly relatable from a woman's point of view and I find it the most enjoyable from the pile of other similar books I've read (comedian actress puts essays together) I like her voice and I like her self-irony and the way she is looking at herself in retrospection - it sounds honest and human and it felt like talking to a friend. Actually, this sums up the whole book for me. It's like reading letters from an old friend you haven't talked to in awhile. I recommend it. It's far from Tolstoy but it brings smiles so that's okay in my books.

What a fun memoir! It does a good job of being funny and real, as well as talking about the weirdness of celebrity, without taking itself too seriously. A quick read and worth it.
Definitely enjoyed the fact that Anna narrated the audiobook herself. It was good to hear it in her own voice.

This book was cute. Kendrick is just as quirky comical as you'd expect her to be and I'm a sucker for biography type books that are read by the author. This is a great quick audio book if you're a fan of her work and some of the sections are either quite funny or give a lot of insight to her career. That being said there are sections that can get kind of long winded and would come off as just a plain conversation you'd have with a rambling gal pal. I liked it. It wasn't anything earth shattering, but it was a fun read and I'd probably only recommend it as an audio book.

Hilarious book with some great storytelling. Doesn't take herself too serious but also gives credit where it's due. Audiobook highly recommend

I love Anna Kendrick! I really wanted to enjoy this book more than I did. After the best line of the book on p. 150, I ended up equally skimming and reading the rest of it. It was just a lot of the same, which got old. I still, however, remain an Anna Kendrick fan.
