I loved this book. Anna is hilarious. Unlike a lot of celebrity books she talked a lot about the day it day of Hollywood life. I adored hearing her read it and I felt like it added a lot. I honestly would have given it 5 stars but the end lost focus and rambled on a bit. I would highly recommend it, especially the audio book.

I loved Anna Kendrick before, and this just solidified my fondness for her. Her self-deprecating sense of humor is right up my alley, and I found her to be super funny, down to earth, and just....cool.
I particularly loved the ways in which she recognizes how fame has changed her, and yet is still down to earth enough to recognize the ways in which fame has changed her. I thought she was honest and entertaining, and it sort of made me want to just run out and watch all of the movies she's been in.
Highly recommend.

Really fun book! Some nice light reading, and entertaining stories, with some heart. The audiobook was very good too!

Ugh I love Anna Kendrick and just want to be her best friend. I own both physical and audio copies of this book, but chose the audio because I found out it was read by her. I loved the audio for many reasons, but mostly because I could fan girl and pretend she was actually talking to me. It's super funny and probably something I shouldn't have listened to at work, but it was worth it!
Also, Anna if you're reading this, please be my friend. We can both be awkward introverts!

I listened to it on audiobook which was nice as it is Kendrick reading it. Funny and entertaining book about her experiences growing up, how she got into acting, etc. worth a listen to!

I read this book awhile ago when Anna Kendrick was popping off for her delightful and witty social media commentary. Unfortunately, I think her knack for witty comments has a character limit because this book does not reflect that at all. There’s a lot of name dropping and references to Hollywood party and drug culture and despite the book title, the book did not feel grounded at all.

I'd be willing to lift my #nonewfriends ban for Anna Kendrick.

Meh. I typically enjoy celebrity autobiographies but just didn't love this one. I found it not endearing or interesting but instead a little crass. Towards the end I enjoyed it more so I added a star.

I was a wee bit disappointed in this audiobook. I was excited to hear about Pitch Perfect, which was only mentioned in passing in relation to another event. She didn't really talk about a lot of her movies in depth, but mostly her starting career on Broadway (I didn't know this), how fame hasn't changed her and the drugs she's done.
