I love TJR's stories! Maybe in Another Life is such a sweet story about seemingly small decisions that could put your life on an entirely different track. The large events might still happen but the context leading up to the event or who is involved, could be different. I enjoyed the dual stories of where the main characters decisions split her life. This wasn't my favorite TJR. Overall it's still a solid read!

“Life is long and full of an infinite number of decisions. I have to think that the small ones don’t matter, that I’ll end up where I need to end up no matter what I do.”

So I started this book a few days ago and forgot to log it sorry oops. Anyways I really really enjoyed this book. The whole concept is that one decision completely changes your path, but at the same time doesn’t change who you are or the type of person you become, just how you get there. I really liked the dynamics and I LOVED gabby she was probably my favorite character. I don’t want to say too much or spoil but I really liked this book and I highly recommend, now I’m gonna see what other Taylor Jenkins reid books I have yet to read because they’re all good so far.

I liked the two timelines happening at the same time. It was a really cool concept but still easy to follow.

This was good. It was interesting to go back and forth between the two plot/story lines, and to see how different things came together or affected Hannah. At the same time, it was nice to hear how people and things stayed constant between the two narratives. While her fate was different at the end, they all were happy and thankful for where they were and who they were with. This is a reassuring thought that no matter the choice you make, things will work out ok.
