"Don’t think about what you’ve lost. Think of how much you have to gain. Live, Stella."

Ok before we talk about the plot can we talk about how cute the cover is?!? IT'S LUNGS BUT IT'S SO CUTE. One of the prettiest book cover I've seen perhaps.

When the movie comes out, I just know I have to read the book first before I watch it. And I didn't regret it, the book is worth to read. The story of Stella and Will touches my heart, I mean they're probably soulmates who didn't... correction, can't be together. They are each other's breath but if they are together they won't even be able to breathe.

I love books with dual point of views and the concept and summary seemed right up my alley. With that being said, I did not like this book. The characters were flat, there was nothing passed their CF, nothing passed
stella's parents divorce

We're told so abruptly about everyone's lives. Everything that moves the "plot" is done through dialoged. Speaking of plot, there isn't much of one. Of course once Will and Stella meet there is something, other than that- I don't know what I'm supposed to be rooting for. If I had read this when I was 15, I'd see the romance so maybe I'm not the target audience. It wasn't the worst book I've ever read, I didn't DNF it but I wish it lived up to all the hype around it.

My cheeks hurt from all this fake positivity, but I don't want to ruin it for them.

Rated: /4.5 stars/ It got the job done and delivered everything it promised. A great book.

I thought this was a nice read. Something simple and fast. Will, Stella and Poe are all relatable characters and the book really explores their individual problems. I know some may consider this insta-love, but I feel it worked within this book. All throughout the book Stella and Will are explaining how life for people who have cystic fibrosis is short and unpredictable. So it makes sense for them to form attachments quickly as well as lose them.

Major Spoilers!
I love the way Will figured out he was projecting onto his mom at the end that was one of my favorite parts. I was very upset when Poe died he definitely one of my favorites.
