Short book that you’ll need extra time to think in between excerpts. Contains many powerful messages about human existence.

Love this one. He also pauses between important concepts i(n the audiobook version) to promote mindfulness, which I found soothing.

Liked the book had chapters/topics for stillness including death and suffering. Super easy to read, one of those books you pick up and read for inspiration or for a quick moment of spirituality.

It definitely helps to have a background by first reading The Power of Now and A New Earth. However, everyone can get something out of this book. Its purpose is to alter our self-sabotaging human thought processes.

I believe Tolle has a great many golden nuggets in Stillness Speaks, but they are difficult to access. I will read this again someday, and I know I will get more from it. For now, I will just have to take what I could get.

Tolley presents interesting ideas and practical advice. The book format is more of short, stand-alone paragraphs and tid-bits. I checked it out from the library, but I think to really get the most from this book, one would need to own a copy to refer back to from time to time. I did gain more advice on how to be still and appreciate the present.

Another short version of the same thing. Read THE POWER OF NOW and save yourself the money on this one. Once you have THE POWER OF NOW in your bones, you don't need these others. They're just commercial enterprises, imo.
