This definitely wasn’t my favorite book in this series.
I feel as though Robert’s focus is lost around book two and now with three it’s just not as “there”?
They feel kind of like.. projects you never really finished but were good enough.
This is a decent story, I just feel like there’s more.

This one was fun, and I liked Ramanu far more in this book than any of their appearances in the others. 9/10 recommend

Continuing in the same world as the first book and taking readers back to The Shadow Market, The Demon’s Bargain introduces Lenora, a witch who needs the help of a demon in order to get a family heirloom back from a thieving ex-lover.
Imagine my surprise to find that the bargainer demon summoned is none other than Ramanu, from this author’s monster romance series, A Deal with a Demon. Intrigued by Lenora, Ramanu is intent on getting her to agree to a 7-year contract in order to secure his help. But when she hesitates, he does agree to accompany her to The Shadow Market for the next three days hoping to win her over.
What follows is LOTS AND LOTS of sexytimes with magical pegging, pain-with-your-pleasure orgasms, and eventually some soft feeling between two people who aren’t used to commitment.
I enjoyed it immensely and am super excited for The Kraken’s Sacrifice, the next book in the A Deal with a Demon series, coming next week. Hoping to see more Lenora and Ramanu.
CW- explicit sex, pain during sex. violence, death of the bad guy, blood
