I love this series. That’s all I have to say about that.

Writing was fine, I was bored and it was a short story which made me feel worse about not being able to just power through it. Life’s too short to read something you’re not into.

3.5 stars!!! i'm kinda in love with this series. like do you see the cover art? anyways i love that the main character is non-binary, it was also the perfect amount of fluff & smut. the thing that bugged me was that the
"plot" was kinda dumb and lenora irritated me. ramanu definitely carried the whole story.

As with most Katee Roberts novella length books this is pretty light on the plot which makes the romance development minimal. This minimal development keeps me from getting too invested in the couple’s emotional connection which is a bummer. What makes this stand out from her other books is the scrappy sassy protagonist in Lenora. The other women in this series have understandably been a bit down in the dumps or insecure, but Lenora is extremely confident and powerful. Overall not a bad book to pick up if you’re looking for a quick palette cleanse read with some spice.
