I do enjoy this series but this one was just ok. I really love Ramanu but this felt so rushed. Especially the ending/epilogue. I would love another novella explaining some of what happened during her contract? Maybe we will get a better glimpse into that in the next book being released about Azazel. Overall, it felt very rushed and could of easily been another 200 pages.

The Demon's bargain is the second book of the Peculiar Tastes series and It's a bit different from the other books.
Here we have Leonora, a very strong willed witch that lost her talisman to a one night stand and now summon Ranamu (the demon that works with Azazel) to help her retrieve it.

Thus in this installment, we don't have her being auctioned but we do have her making her pact/bargain.
I would say this book did work more on the spicy scenes and varied them a little bit compared to the Kraken Sacrifice. On the other hand, the development of their relationship was not as well rounded. However it was still a fun book!
