This probably could have been a long form article instead of a book, as I found it valuable but repetitive. I learned a few new things but nothing groundbreaking and not consistently.

easy read. some of the chapters are skippable. it's a more recent book so many of the references and data points were timely and very applicable. i'd recommend to others!

This was SO FASCINATING. I feel like it's one of those books every parent (really, probably every person) should read. Definitely talked Bart's ear off about this one.

Easy read with each chapter centered around thought provoking concepts. All in all, you’ll walk away from this book with a deeper understanding around the idea that “What we all want most in life — to understand and be understood — only happens when we slow down and take the time to listen.”

Thought provoking but difficult for me to put into action with all conversation partners. This is going to take lots of work and tons of practice. Wish I had this book earlier in my career. Then maybe I wouldn't be bullish in discussions but more contemplative and sit back more and listen.
