It's always hard to find a fated mates book that's more than just insta love. Now that the MCs are separated, you realize their entire relationship was like 95% physical romance when every memory of each other was just of them having sex and I'm surprised Loki was even able to tell a difference in the fake Tessa. Baby at the end was weird. Lazy writing when recounting past events and it's just rereading copied word for word paragraphs. Still don't like how much Marigold and her mates are in the story and so many recounts of what happened in her series that I don't really care about.

I bought the full series on audible and the first books in this series are actually pretty good compared to what I was expecting, however when Tessa started speaking to her unborn Son telepathically, through her womb (yes this does actually happen) I actually started laughing because it was so ridiculous. I saw that other people found the other books cringe but thought that they were okay despite some weird scenes, but that one took the cake.
Overall, I would say that this series is a good palette cleanser.
Is it the best thing you’ve ever read? No
But it’s fast paced and i likes a lot of the tropes.

Beautiful
Such a beautiful ending to a very good book. I adore the characters and wish it would of been a longer series BUT I absolutely loved every thrilling, breath taking moment.

How did this one end up being so bad?
Listen, I know this isn't the greatest series ever written, but damn, the first three were really entertaining! You could see how much the author wanted this series to be over by her writing. I felt like all I did was read the outline notes of this book. Also, the best part was ruined in the synopsis. Major disappointment.

The story was really good, but the banter felt really off to the point of being annoying by the end of the book.
