I guess Netflix’s show “the society” is inspired by this tale

It was a bit more creepy that I thought it was going to be, in my opinion. That was what I liked best about the story. But I'm afraid the narrative was too simple and placid to garner any further interest from me.

Blake, who usually groans at poetry, loved this poem. Even without illustrations.

The illustrations in this edition are amazing. It was also great to read the original poem. After having read it it seems to me that the piper may have been a fae/fairy.

This my favorite tale from childhood. And it reminds folks to always follow through on their promises.

The Pied Piper of Hamelin by Robert Browning – Browning has a knack for getting hold of creepy stories and making them his own! Happy Reading!
