I’m such a fan of memoirs read by the author that wrote them - it always makes hearing their story that much more personal and emotional. That being said I think I could also still benefit from reading this in print form, definitely a strong recommend for anyone

Arthur and Ben are so cute it’s disgusting and I love it. Lowkey almost wanted to shed a tear at the end? These lil gay disasters have my heart

The first part of the book where they’re trying to find each other was probably the most interesting to me but I loved seeing how their relationship developed too

Maybe it’s a hot take — I don’t mind pop culture references in contemporary fiction but the Harry Potter references may have been a bit much in this day and age, even as someone who grew up loving Harry Potter

Oh this is so good, it’s such a great follow-up to Delilah Green doesn’t care, and listening to every second of it was so so enjoyable. (Spice included🥵) so so looking forward to reading/listening to Iris Kelly Doesn’t Date🫶🏽

It’s honestly the perfect kinda trashy (in a reality show you love to binge kind of way) sapphic rom com laid back story that you need. It’s great and funny and if this exact thing unfolded on the irl bachelor I would binge that season so fast

Took me a while to get into it and even then I feel like I wasn’t super satisfied with it. There was a lot of potential for the book but it seemed like it was trying to cover a lot of different issues but never fleshing out any of them (teacher/student relationships, #MeToo, discrimination against black people in the justice system, etc). And after all this
it’s not like it’s 100% confirmed Robbie did it. I would’ve been more fine with the ending had the rest of the book felt like it more heavily focus on the injustices of black people in court especially in the 1990s, for example.
I do like the narrator though, not as a person, but listening to her obsessions and delusions surrounding the whole case was great. Shoutout to Julia Whelan for providing the audio.🙏🏽

Honestly it’s cute all in all. There’s some decent spice too🌶️ However
it really took the term ‘sister wives’ to a whole other level😭 At least they acknowledged that they ended up as stepsisters after all that scheming to get their parents together. I’m willing to look past it just this once because of the time period. I would not say the same if that story took place now lmao
