Read this book a while ago so I can’t remember the details of what happens in it, but I do remember it destroying me in the best possible way.

Truly a unique read. I really loved learning more about the characters’ situation as more and more mysteries unfolded. There isn’t much I can say about this book without spoiling it, but what I can say is that Eliot Schrefer clearly did a LOT of research, and that it all paid off. Really excited to start the sequel next!

Edit: I would die for Kodiak btw. My little misunderstood guy.

Absolutely love Trigun! Just not a huge fan of the lack of effort put into this edition, especially with the gold foil rubbing off and incorrect translations.

BANGER. I usually don’t read books of this genre, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Looking forward to the sequel’s release.

SUCH A CUTE STORY!! It’s definitely written for younger age groups, but I read it all today as a 20 y/o and I loved it so much. Found myself stimming, laughing, and really feeling for the characters at points throughout the story. Was disappointed to read that volume 2 is the conclusion!

This might be my new favorite book. I was entranced. It got me out of a reading slump. This book was full of aha! moments and hope, and it was so insightful and relatable as someone who experiences mental illness.

I really loved how the contrast between the pirate ship and the hospital got less and less obvious as the book went on, both signifying Caden’s inability to identify reality, and as a way to show the reader parallels between the two stories more clearly. I wish I were better with words, because I don’t think I’m capable of capturing how truly brilliant this book is.

Very cute book! I kinda called the "twist" I guess, but that's just because I was familiar with the symptoms. The homophobia was a bit cliché, but it makes sense for a country town. Was a quick read and the art was super nice. Love the representation as well :D
