It was cute, but nothing special. It was understandably simple, but not enough to hold up to an adult audience.

Characters were juvenile and unlikable. While premise was exciting writing was boring and annoying.

Carnivore centric with complex recipes. While some of the trivia about the show would be interesting, I prefer cookbooks that I can utilize myself.

Boring. It literally took 50-80 pages for the book to start. It was too high fantasy to relate to and I didn’t care about any of the characters. Furthermore, I didn’t like the rigid and backwards/highly gendered society they described.

Content was made for children and overly simplistic.

A little interesting, but essentially felt like a cash grab for harry potter fans who will pay for anything relating to harry potter. Book just gives additional info on the book and movie and some of the real life connections/inspirations.

The exposition killed me. It was all exposition for no reason, making the read unbearably boring. Additionally, the main character is unlikable with self imposed angst and self denial/hatred.

This book was so frustrating. Everyone lacked common sense and morality, culminating in the suspenseful and frustrating events that happen. It really upset my inner ecologist as well.
