Suffice to say I cried.
I felt his grief, both of them. It hurt me but it made me ponder some things I've heard/read before.

I'm still not sure what to think about this book.
I liked it but at the same time I didn't... Or, in particular, the treatment the twins received but I hope that now that I'm heading to read book 1.5 I'll understand a bit more the reason behind the Heirs actions, even if I cannot condone them.

I liked this one way more than the first book. It also hurt a lot more.
I cannot condone the actions of the heirs, but at least now I can understand why.

Wow. Now I understand why the readers of this series are so angry.
I don't know what to say. There were some things I was expecting, others that I didn't and in the part where I was expecting things to happen, it happened way more different than I thought they would.

I'm waiting for the eight book but I do not expect rainbows and butterflies.

This copy has "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", "The Body Snatcher" and "Olalla".
Of the three, my favourite was Olalla. It has those perfect Gothic vibes that I was looking for.
The Body Snatcher captured my attention from the first moment and I had to actually stop myself from reading these two last stories.
Now, last but not least it is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: Predictable? Yes, but highly enjoyable. Dr. Jekyll's description of how he found out about Mr. Hyde, the process of the transformation and future development of both characters was simply delightful. I was enthralled by it.
