Goes too far into satire for a 5 but a clever book , and an enjoyable read , I felt though that I could have learned even more about the important subject matter without the satire. Some powerful touches the list of names etc

I’ve worked in forensic mental health and this is much better than a lot of more sensationalist works on the subject, lengthy and readable but also informative on a wide range of topics reflecting the authors broad career. A few statements I didn’t totally agree with but it’s a really good read and I am with him on all his conclusions.

Like this one, light hearted and of all the plays I’ve read by Shakespeare the first one I found a good ‚easy‘ read (though I still prefer the tragedies and histories)

I get that this might be a great examination of something I just don’t understand, but I really trudged through this - whiny, repetitive, increasingly unfunny, and formless rant

Enjoyable, easy to read, some lovely moments on relationships and long term love ; not for me a Booker winner but who knows??
