i sobbed like a baby for the last 15 minutes that i was reading it, and i for sure will talk about it in therapy tomorrow.
thank you for this sequel, it wasn’t necessarily needed, but it was for me. for the 14yo me that read “orbiting jupiter” and sobbed for hours after, and again at every reread. this was so beautiful, heartbreaking, and true to their story. this book spoke to the 12yo me that just wanted everything to go as it should.

this book tore me apart in every which way when I was 15, and again now reading it at 24. what a beautiful, gut wrenching book that I really recommend everyone to read.

picked this up randomly at the library and man i couldn’t be happier. i really really really adored this book. mia reminds me so much of me only a few years ago, maybe even a bit still. everything from the story to the characters were just so important to me.
i am very excited to buy my copy as i had to resort to taking pictures of everything i wanted to underline.
i love this book and i love women.
