This was the first twisted tale book that I’ve read and I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to. It was an easy and quick read that kept me engaged in the story throughout the book. And I loved how different pieces of the story came back together in the end. This was a little bit darker than I had expected for a Disney book but I enjoyed the twist on this story.

I really liked the honesty in this book. I do wish she would have talked a little bit more about how she continued to grow and such after her stay in the hospital. She did talk about it some afterwards but it felt a little hidden, to me at least. But maybe for her it was so idk.

I did like that even though the book ended on such a hard event in her life, I could see her resilience and how she had grown in the years since being in the hospital.

This was a good read but I was a little disappointed because I thought it would be the diaries of the kids, not someone’s summary of the diaries. It was great to read their stories, but I went into the book wanting to hear each of their voices and I feel that was lost since it was reading a persons thoughts on their diaries instead of the diaries themselves.

This book blew me away! I finished it in 3 days and immediately wanted to read it again! Between ADHD and being a mood reader, it can take me months to finish a book, but I couldn't even think about any other books once I started this one. Every night when I was going to sleep I just couldn't put it down. Serious one-more-chapter syndrome alert!

This book was beautifully written. The twist at the end was done so well that I immediately wanted to read the book again to see what I had missed. It shined a whole new light on the entire book that made me want to re-read and see all the subtle connections I had missed the first time.

This book was a 10/10 for me. It had short chapters that were easy to follow and the plot just pulled me right in and didn't let go. A must-read!

I bought this to read since it was a dark fantasy romance. I didn’t expect the twist on Cinderella and beauty and the beast kind of vibes that came up but I loved them. And I loved how the ending fit the whole plot of the book. It just made sense how the story progressed from start to finish and it was great. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.
I’m sure it picks up but so far none of the chapters are even related and it’s just not holding my attention.
