The only reason I’m giving this book two stars is because of Cassian and Nesta , also the small moment we had of Lucien. I did not enjoy this like I did the rest of the series.

This book has probably one of the best built worlds that I’ve read in a long time. The twists and turns had me at the edge of my seat, constantly turning pages for more. I was in love with the characters, Maya and Amar are so beautifully written and they feel so real. These intense and raw emotions were amazing, it’s been a long time since I’ve read such a fast paced book but this was such an amazing read. The mythology also was perfect! If you are a fan of Rick Riordan I highly highly recommend this book because it truly robs the sky of stars. Literally stunning.

“No mourners, No funerals.”

Beautiful, descriptive, nerve wrecking, heart wrenching, incredible, fantastic, and literally a breath of fresh air. The world of grisha is one of the most awe inspiring stories. These characters are so complex, so futile to each other’s existence. I found myself laughing, crying, and living with them. I’m so ready to dive into crooked kingdom.
