first of all thank you so much for the author for sending the arc in exchange for a honest review. it made me feel so special!!! now here we go.
the premise of the book is amazing I really wanted to read it asap. the story development is very fast paced, and don't get me wrong, i need some fast pace in books to keep my attention. however, sometimes it felt it was a little rushed and I felt I lost the chance to connect with the characters and what was happening to them. also everything happens in roughly a week and it kinda made everything feel a little rushed.
the main characters, they're so cute and i love their dynamic. I don't think the romance was really necessary but I'm not complaining tho. again due to the fast rhythm of the story I couldn't really connect with them or their feelings for each other.
the plot twists??? got me looking at the imaginary camera in my room.
I personally would've love more narration than dialogue. sometimes they were a little bit cringe and I believe that could've been avoided had a narration being used instead (but that's just a personal preference of mine, not that it was wrong!)
