Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
5.0
this book took me AGES to finally get through, but not at all because it was boring. i absolutely love leigh bardugo’s writing and the entire grishaverse. i became so attached to these characters (in the soc duology) that i could not bring myself to finish it in a timely manner. so many unexpected twists and turns to constantly keep you on the edge of your seat. i 1000% recommend this book and the entire duology. happy reading!!

We Should Hang Out Sometime: Embarrassingly, a True Story by Josh Sundquist

4.5/5 stars
this book was a lot better than i anticipated it being. i thoroughly enjoyed each individual story and how he overcame these things in his life. though i did encounter much secondhand embarrassment through this true story, it was quite a great read. looking for a quick summer read? definitely give this a shot ;)

Here We Are Now by Jasmine Warga

not my usual type of read as it was much less about romance and more about familial relationships and self discovery. it was a very good book though, and i was pleasantly surprised as i literally bought this book at the dollar tree. i think this book touched on multiple good topics and was an all around great read!
What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen

this was a super great summer read. unfortunately it was a lot less romance centered than i anticipated, it touched on many great topics including identity and family. though it was a large book, it was still a fairly quick read. sarah dessen does not disappoint:)
