Using famous queer people as curses aside, I really enjoyed this book. It's a heavier book than Cochrun's first two books, but has the same delightful humor.

I don't know how to feel about this book. It was okay?? I don't really see why people are so obsessed with it. Will I continue? Probably. But it's eh.

I absolutely adore Aled! He needs to be protected at all costs. It's very clear his mom is mentally ill and abusive. This book gives a lot of context to Aled's character if you've only read Heartatopper.

The Unfortunate Side Effects of Heartbreak and Magic by Breanne Randall

This book was released in 2023, so tell me why the hell there's a HP mention? It could have easily been replaced with something else.

I picked this one up to see what the hype was about, and I definitely don't think it was worth it. At. All. It was all over the place. Not even bothering to give this a star rating.

I think this is the first time I'm rating an Ashley Poston book less than 5 stars. It was good, don't get me wrong. It just took me longer to get into this one than the others I think because of how meta it was. A woman finds herself in the fictional town of her favorite romance series, and it's a book about her in a book? It broke my brain a little. Though, I will say I absolutely LOVE Anders and Mr. Butterscotch (his cat).
