Thought this took a long time to get through and was very windy. Very long but never really seemed to resolve any issues.

Did not finish book.
I was looking for something funny and upbeat, and it just didn't hit the mood I was looking for at the time. Might double back-- only really got a couple chapters it, listening to it on audiobook (honestly, that may have been the issue!).

This book had some weird commentary on disabilities that didn't sit right with me. Tiffany Haddish is a very particular type of comic; if you like her stuff a lot, you'll like this book a lot. If you're more on the fence, you'll be more on the fence. If nothing else, it was a consistent read with her comedy work.

This book was phenomenalll and so heavy. I was going through a hard time when I was trying to read it, and I was not emotionally prepared to finish it. I am excited to go back, sometime, when I have more capacity to read it. I was about 2/3 of the way through it.

I finally finished it three years later and it wasn't easy to do. 5 star book, 1 star feelings about the topic. so sad. so heavy. so tough. Chimamanda Adichie knocked it out of the park.
