Might be the fastest DNF so far ar 12 pages. Yikes. Definitely a tell don't show, and already had sexist comments about two different women. No thank you.

Found it generally fairly boring. Might get better over time, but when I found out from reviews the dog died, that sealed the deal for me.

As usual I did really enjoy this book, and I adore the family.

There are themes of domestic abuse in this book, so be aware of that, though none from the MC's.

I am personally not a big fan of pregnancy/child themes, but if you are, you're gonna love it! I still enjoyed the book, it's just not my absolute favorite in the series. I still love that all the characters are doing their own thing, and aren't all the same.

I recived this for free as an ARC.

I did enjoy the book.

Some parts felt fairly slow and I fell out a bit. Though others I was really immersed and couldn't put it down. Would recommend if you like these kinds of themes. Would probably have rated it higher if the pacing felt more even throughout.

I liked the characters, and the slightly different take on some of the species's. I would normally have been able to read it in 1-2 days with no issue. Might continue the series now that I've gotten more into the plot.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
