The end of the book literally made me cry with love because I felt such a strong emotions for both Frances and Aled. While it did take me ages to read this and I had to make myself pick it up again a couple times it was brilliant. Alice Oseman is just such a talented writer and I love the way they portray their characters. I enjoyed the story of this book so much with all its ups and downs and the irregular chapters were so charming.
Please read this.

This is NOT what I signed up for... I was so panicked when they didn't talk for two weeks, it felt like the end! Of course I knew it wouldn't be but omg, at one point I literally cried so much I couldn't make out the words on the page anymore. A short
novella should not have such a hold on me honestly but I am just very invested in the story world of Heartstopper right now.

This one felt a bit more slow and I liked that it was a bit of a change and just seeing them more in their routine almost (even tho it's summer break). It's nice to also begin to see their struggles and not just the happy and nice things because being a teen these days is tough. I am curious how it's all gonna evolve/ continue to play out because so much has been added to the characters by now that they are so fascinating. I am very happy that this series isn't afraid of tackling difficult topics like mental health and eating disorders and does so very tactfully. Not shying away from the ugly truth that comes with it but also giving hope that mental health problems are not the end of the world and can get better. It's such an important message especially for young people at 16 because dealing with it then and finding help us so much more difficult sometimes because of family.
(I am guessing when the Volumes start and end as I am reading on tumblr and can not exactly tell.)

Reading this on tumblr definitely changes the experience but somehow it seems to be the exact right fit for this, it feels right. I love how cute and just soft Nick and Charlie are and even tho I am a couple years older and in university and not high-school, I can relate. Both to how things used to be but honestly they are still not that much different and it feels so good to see that early, young falling in love with the butterflies and blushing.

This was some highs and some lows together in one book which made it very confusing. I really liked the Newcastle issue and finally seeing what went down and the whole crew together. Possibly my favourite issue so far. I also surprisingly liked The Horrorist, especially the art style really was beautiful to me and I might seek out some more of it.
However #13 and the Hellblazer Annual I did not like, because it felt just disconnected and very confusing both storywise and what the purpose was.
Looking forward to the next one that is nothing but the regular Hellblazer
issues.

Gorgeous, gorgeous book. It made me so happy to read this and made me so happy to see how openly and extensively their culture and religion was discussed. I have read no other book like this and I am hoping to read more (fiction) books who do this in the future.
