I feel bad because i am in a rough reading slump at the moment and that definitely affected how i felt about this book- usually i FLY though Emily Henry’s stuff but this took me a while to get into and a while to finish. HOWEVER I loved the characters, especially our protagonist, which is rare for me, i usually end up attached to the love interest in Emily Henry novels. No disrespect to Wyn though, as always Emily writes a DREAMY AF man- this guy cares so much for his family, can make you a table and has good flirty banter- impeccable. I love the setting too, I wish i was sat on a deck sunbathing reading this novel. Will definitely reread when i’m out of this slump!

I flew through this book in less than 48 hours, such a fun read. I love all of the male characters in this book, but specially Nate. The hockey boys adopting Lola and Anastasia into their group was just so sweet- i want more books about the other boys, especially henry. I loved the sports part of it ofc and how this played into the dynamic of A and N’s relationship. Overall a great sports romance.

i’m still trying to decide how i feel. I loved the first book in this series and i don’t think i liked this one as much BUT i did thoroughly enjoy it. Similar to a lot of other reviewers i found the first third of the book a bit slow but i flew through the rest of it. I love Hannah, i related to her far more than i did Piper, mostly because of the music element in the book but also how she has to learn to take risks through out the book. I can’t decide how i feel about Fox. I think i prefer Brendan, purely because fox’s trust issues and everything i think would wind me up - i think the book was just a tad too long so by the end i was just ready for him to drop them and fully accept Hannah. *spoiler alert* I wish he would have stayed confident in their relationship on his final trip and not come back planning to end things again in the last 50 pages, seemed a little forced but i get he needed to overcome that judgement.

I really liked this book- flew through it in two days. I preferred this to the first book, i can’t wait for Cal’s book. I loved both Iris and Declan, i sometimes find female narrators annoying in these kinds of novels but iris is levelheaded and really holds her own against Declan. Declan is the dreamiest love interest ever- i honestly have zero words- he is so loving and giving and just ugh love him. Loved the use of tropes - work place romance, hates everyone but me, grumpy/sunshine. Overall a great read- oh love a bit of dyslexia representation :)

I think because this book was so hyper up i was a little disappointed, i really wanted to LOVE it but i kinda just liked it. I really liked all the characters, rowan and Zahra were such a sweet couple- just felt like something was missing for me in their dynamic- i wasn’t overly moved by their romantic moments. I adore Zahra’s sister Ani, would love to have seen even more about her and her bf. Overall a solid read, just not as good as the hype for me.

A great way to start the festive season- i love all the characters in this book, especially some of the side characters like the mum and the grandmas. I’m in a bit of a reading slump and this finally got me out of it!
