Ohmyword I loved this book so much. Tal and Athlen's relationship is so sweet, but I especially love Tal's journey to finding himself and embracing his magic (though that is a nuance of their relationship). I would've loved to see how Tal would carry through on some of his promises, though that's not the aim of the story. Another thing I wish had happened was for Tal's trauma to be more rounded. (Ok, that sounds screwed up, let me elaborate.) Where Tal went through some pretty traumatic stuff, it really only showed in one aspect of his life, even though the trauma itself related to several. I do like how deeply embedded Tal's fear of becoming like his great-grandfather was, though.

"All such conflict is a thing of the past. There is peace on Earth, good will toward app humankind. Except..."

I did not expect to love this book as much as I did. Once I started reading, it sucked me in and captivated my essence in all the best ways possible. I loved Citra and her determination; I hated Goddard and his corruption, and I eagerly read through all the twists the story took.
Scythe is an intriguing book on the corruption of humanity, semi-frequently contrasting the human-run scythedom to the Thunderhead-run civilian society. There were so many moments that just left me starting at a wall, processing the emotionally wrenching scenes. But even with the darkness throughout the story, there were still moments I couldn't help but laugh. It was a nice reprieve from the heaviness of most of the story.

Oh. My. God. I don't know what to say about this book. It was absolutely facinating. Would I agree with the character's actions? Usually, no. But seeing how they justified and reasoned things was intriguing.
Tartt wrote this scary realistic; I could see this events taking place with unnerving ease. And the characters were incredibly well-written. They were fleshed out, even as they spiraled out of sanity. All in all, this was an amazing read.

I LOVED this book. All the characters were incredibly well-written, and had reasons behind their actions, justifiable to them. I love how Noah's relationships with Devon and Becca broke down and blossomed as the characters grew; I feel like that's how relationships (please note, by relationship I mean any relationship: platonic, romantic, familial, queerplatonic, etc) usually work, and I think Lee did a good job illustrating that.
There were so many moments that I just had to cackle or squeal or yell at a wall (in lieu of Noah, as he wasn't present to yell at lol).
All in all, I absolutely loved this book, and would recommend it for somebody who loves lighthearted romances with fake dating gone wrong.

Percy is hilarious (and it sucks that I keep forgetting that wonderful fact -_-). The writing style and near-constant jokes helped aleviate tension that would've been present with a more serious narrator/writing style (which is to say, I thoroughly enjoy Riordan's writing style). I also love seeing our original trio taking on new challenges and growing together, again. My only regret is how long it took me to read it.

I thoroughness enjoyed this book; it was a nice way to revisit a small part of my childhood.
I love the diversity of the characters in this story: dead and alive, healthy and unwell. The setting is also such a quaint place. Cat's decisions regarding her sister are something that are a very real sibling thing; Cat and Maya's relationship is well-written.

It was a super cute story. The societal development is interesting; I would love to learn more about witches and their training methods. I love how the characters grew closer through the story. The art style is really cute, too.

I enjoyed this book a lot. A few new characters were introduced, and a couple of them seem to potentially be good for Ryo. (At least, I hope they are; precious Ryo deserves better <3.) I also love seeing the progression and hardships in the boys' brand, rather than life just being easy sailing; in life, there are set backs, and being able to ready about them often helps to work through them :D

It was really cute, like really cute. There were some things I wished went into a little more detail (which is to say, it's fairly simplistic), but it was a decent, quick read!

I...don't know what to say. I already know I would do anything for Ryo, Jin, and Itsuka.
I'm looking forward to continuing this series!
