At this point I don't think there is a Tillyverse book I won't love. Angelo was a big dummy for not being straightforward about that thing. But I love how he was with Beth.

Beth is such a strong character and her relationship with Noah really warmed my heart. I enjoyed the portrayal of a non-traditional family even if the circumstances sucked. Her relationship with her mom was also relatable. Noah was also a great side character as was Sissy. As always, I loved seeing the other characters pop up in this book.

This book was definitely more suspenseful than the first which was also great.

This book was so sweet! Caleb and Layla were the classic "pining from afar" trope. It was super cute and I loved how Caleb was always there for Layla. I also love seeing the townspeople and am so looking forward to Charlie's book. I didn't really care for the third act break up, but the dirty talk in this one was much more than I remember from the first two books and I really appreciated that.

I really had no idea how Shiloh's book was going to go. In everyone else's books she seemed like a scared person who couldn't cope with anything. I am so glad that was not true. It was so good to get insight about her thoughts and feelings towards everything. Especially with the way her family was.

Same for Ramsey. The grumpy ranch owner who seemingly hates people. Understanding why he distanced himself and seeing him open up was so good.

The addition of Elliot and Aiden was so good too. And just the whole theme of the ranch putting the broken pieces back together... Ugh my heart!

I will say this book deals with darker themes than the other books in the series did so make sure to check those trigger warnings.

<Spoiler>I am so glad these two characters found their sky in each other. These two definitely deserved their own little slice of happt.

Apparently I am on a fluffy romance kick and I'm not mad about it. This book was so freaking sweet. Russ is a giant walking green flag. He and Aurora's relationship was so freaking cute. The sneaking around gave me anxiety at points, but I am so happy with how the story went. The side characters were also well developed and I really enjoyed reading their interactions. I know there is a third book in this series (which I already own and fully intend to read), but I'm already wanting more from this author.

S. J. Tilly is hands down one of my favorite authors. I can't believe it took me so long to read this book. I knew it would be great.

I loved seeing the softer side of the big broody alphahole MMC. Vincent is such a good guy, and honestly the perfect match for Sasha. I do feel like the ending was a little rushed, but I'm so glad Sasha got to let down her walls and realize she doesn't have to be tough all the time.

I'm excited to see more of Angelo and John in the next books.

Oh my gosh this was the best grumpy/sunshine book. I love Beckett so much. I also appreciated that this audiobook was a dual narration. Those are always nice.

Evie and Beckett are such a good couple. I loved that he was so supportive of finding her happy. I love that she was so supportive of his "quirks." This was such a heartwarming book to read. The spicy scenes were also great - Beckett is clearly a man who knows what he's doing. I'm really looking forward to getting to know his family more. They seem great. I also enjoyed getting to see more of the people of Inglewild. It really gives off Stars Hollow vibes and I'm so here for it.

I think this is my favorite book in this series. I did not see that plot twist coming at all!! I love that each of these books has been so different - the characters have been so different. I was worried book 4 would feel like I was reading the same book over and over again. It definitely wasn't. We see characters from the other books pretty often, and I love that. However, this book while still falling under what I'd consider "romantic suspense" it has different tropes, different circumstances for the characters, and I really appreciated the disability representation in this book. At this point I think I'm going to read Catherine Cowles's entire catalog.

I am so glad this was my last read of 2024. What a nice way to end the year!

Going into this book I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it, because while I do love Lasairiona, I tend to stay away from books where the Domme is female and the submissive is male. I just feel like there tends to be a lot of degradation and stuff in those types of books and it's hard for me to picture myself in the position of the FMC because that is not my role at all. However, Cora is a soft Domme who is stubborn, driven, and knows what she wants in life. I adored her! Sterling was a cinnamon roll and really just wanted to make sure everyone in his life was taken care of.

Their story was so cute, and the healing/self-discovery journeys they both went through were a delight to read. I loved how these characters met. I'm a sucker for marriages of convenience. I also loved seeing characters from previous Protocol books, and ones whose stories haven't been written yet. I'm definitely curious about Slade and Paige. But I also want to know if anything happened between Phoenix and Tessa and what Nyx's story is. I have no doubt that the author will give us these stories when the time is right and I will eagerly wait until then.

I finished this book in less than 24 hours so I feel like that says a lot... This book is a bit darker in ways than books I typically read, mostly because of the non-con aspects. Definitely take the triggers at the beginning of the book seriously.

Going into this book I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Zayden is very unhinged and in the beginning gave Diesel vibes from Den of Vipers. His character had a lot of depth though and I appreciated that. Dominic being the stoic voice of reason throughout the book was also nice to have. I loved this story and I love that it ended in an HEA because I was super nervous it wasn't going to towards the end.

There is a mystery/thriller aspect to this book that all comes to a head near the end. It kept me turning pages when I should have been sleeping. There is probably at least one spicy scene for every chapter or two, so if you're worried about the smut content, it's definitely there. Again, take the author"s trigger warnings seriously.

This was another sweet Christmas read. The characters were relatable and loveable. I loved how involved the side characters were in the story. I'm really looking forward to Beckett's story - he seems so interesting. Layla as well. Especially if we get to see more of Stella and Luca.

This book was probably hands down one of the best sweet friends to lovers stories I've read. Luca was so patient with Stella, and Stella was unapologetically herself throughout the whole thing. The witty banter from everyone was also great.
