I highly recommend listening to the audiobook alone or while reading along with the book. The audiobook isn’t a full production, but has a huge cast and has some sound effects that make it fun to listen to. I’d recommend reading along with the audio though because when it switches to the script it’s not always obvious and there’s a lot of repeated sentences. I like where the book was going towards the end, but the very end kind of felt pretentious and safe for a horror.

It was cute, but it was very plain and surface level

The two main characters didn’t really have much chemistry imo, but i loved the way this story was told with the past and present. Also the idea of a wedding planner and florist being a power couple in all aspects of life is everything

I can’t decide if listening to this on audio was the best or worst choice because I had to keep referring to the ebook glossary to figure out who was who and what magical creature everyone was interacting with. However, this was still so much fun. Despite my confusions, the world felt so unique and beautiful and i can’t wait for the next book to see what happens!

This took a minute to get into, but once the story picked up, I couldn’t stop listening to it! It felt really unique and ended up being a lot darker than I originally expected.

Having the FMC get eaten out under the northern lights be her pivotal moment to change her entire life was a choice… And actually the right choice.
However having the FMC say “Mike Martin” literally the entire time was the wrong choice.
