I loved this book even more so than I loved the last one. I was so happy to be back in the fold with Arthur, Linus, Zoe and the children. There was a lot of social commentary that can hit you in the heart right now. Based on Klune’s afterword it is meant to.  He did an amazing job writing this and a part of me wants more but at the same time I feel the ending was so perfect. How can you improve upon perfection?

This was a magical, funny book that I wanted to quit my job and live in.  I love the characters and the setting.  The humor had me giggling the whole time. Please Please Please tell me there will be sequel for Rafe & Jeremy’s return trip!

So the writing wasn’t bad, the author has a great voice. I just hated every single character. There was not a redeemable character in this book for me and the time jumps the time drops drove me crazy. I am legitimately thinking about tearing the book apart and putting it in the correct chronological order and then maybe, maybe then it wouldn’t hate it so much.
I was lucky enough to meet the author and he was very nice. And like I said, his writing is well put together. His characters have strong voices. I just hated them. I know that he has another book coming out. I’m not opposed to trying it. I just really struggled with this particular story.

This was great at the beginning, but then I got a little bogged down at the end.  It felt too messy and chaotic.  I liked the characters for the most part though. I would read more in the series, I think the growth arc of characters could be good.
