Cute quirky story, good OCD rep, but could have used sensitivity readers for the characters of colour and the casual racism. The main character is also exceptionally stupid at one or two points in the story which doesn't fit her characterisation at all. The mystery plot was nicely done though.

Some parts of this book definitely haven't aged so well, but it's nevertheless an interesting read and still widely applicable. Fascinating to see that communication hasn't really changed that much in 85 years, even though everything else around it has.
