I loved this book so much!! I really have nothing to say other than that I am enthralled by it. Zauner's incredible songwriting translates into the poetry that is this book. Listening to her read it over audiobook made this experience ten times better.

It's becoming more clear to me every day that I am NOT a romance reader, and that's okay. Or maybe this book was just really drawn out and lame but who's to say.

This was what I kept coming back to during a 2 month long, back-to-school induced reading slump lol. Not bad, not great, I think I'll enjoy the movie more. While the writing was very obvious, I liked the overall plot and characters.

This was okay...her perspective felt so regurgitated and girl boss millennial vibes. She's inspiring but it just didn't work for me. I feel like I gained a lot from the first couple hours but after that I was just listening to finish.

I loved this so much! At least half of it was read in one sitting. I had my pen in hand the whole time because the prose is just so gorgeous. It would be 5 stars but some parts felt a little flat to me. I would love to reread this and see what else i can grasp.

This is a reread for me and I love it just as much as I did last summer (if not more)! It's so comforting to read a book about a girl so similar to me and have a lot of my childhood experiences represented. I cried and I laughed and I underlined and annotated so much. Thank you to my AP lang teacher for assigning us this for summer reading and thank you to Jeannette Walls for writing it <3
