Very cute! I like Morrigan as a main character, and her tests are compelling to follow along.

Enjoyable, but the Harry Potter Voldemort ties seem too close. I like Morrigan as a main character, but the series doesn't feel THAT original to me. I continue to love Jupiter North, and I'll keep reading.

Entertaining! A little convoluted, and I hated that Morrigan got exiled from school, but it was fine, and I'll keep reading the series as it get published.

I re-read this book from my childhood after I read Matrix by Lauren Groff, and WOW, it brought me right back. I still really like it. My love of weird books runs deep.

This is the only book I have access to that included the works of Toyo Miyatake, an incarcerated Japanese photographer who I learned about in Art of Protest by De Nichols.

I was surprised to learn so much from this well-done YA fiction, which talked about incarceration and the highly decorated 442nd regiment, which I did not know about previously.

I knew nothing about the events described in this book, and it was really fun to be immersed in Florence and the cast of characters. I felt that the pacing was a little off, and the book was like 10-15% too long, but on the whole, really wonderful.

I had the pleasure of working with the author for several months, and it was really interesting to read her book after the fact and understand her background more.

I love a weird Western, but throw in some LBGTQ representation and fast-talking characters, and you've really got me. I flew through this one, and I'm so glad I read it.
