Harpist in the Wind by Patricia A. McKillip
Wow, I’m finally done! I’m very conflicted over this book, the whole series for that matter. Reading it was confusing, frustrating, at times dull, but, in the end, amazing. I’m very tempted to reread the whole thing again right now just so I can see all the little hints and clues.
Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan
The start is so-so but the story tends to move pretty fast so it's hard to get bogged down. The second part was good. I got caught up in the mystery and the shifts of perspective were refreshing without taking you away from the main pair for too long.
Locke & Key, Vol. 4: Keys to the Kingdom by Joe Hill
This was a good one! Intense. The stupid teenagers finally got some brains, even the girl. And the drunk mom too!
Descending Stories: Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju 10 by Haruko Kumota
I can't judge this series on it's own merits. The revelation in the last volume turned me around completely. I can only remember the disappointment reading Usagi Drop. Maybe others can look past that and judge the soul of the story on the emotional level but it's not something I can do. All I can feel is distaste.
