What a wonderful read! I enjoyed it immensely. Both the ebook and an audiobook had me spellbound. Even though I've been wishing for less series more standalone novels, in this case I find myself longing for more; maybe a bit more of the world at least. I'm not certain if I'll ever reread the book for it might not have the same magic the second time, but i will always think of it as a favourite.

Follows anime pretty closely. I found that I'd be lost without seeing the anime first. The progression of the action is difficult to follow. Also, the characters just seem more interesting in the anime. Not a big fan of the manga so far. But I'll read one more volume or two, hopefully it might at least grow on me.

Great series. Made me cry. Will have to reread at some point.

Not sure how I feel about this book. I finished it quickly, it's not long. And I was engaged enough to finish it quickly. I wasn't crazy about the protagonist, I didn't like her all that much. All the other characters were kind of not-so-believable. I guess, in summary, it was engaging enough to read once but I won't be re-reading it.
