This is a compelling queer fantasy romance, in which music is magical. It has a poly relationship, and two of the protagonists are trans. Resenfeld's treatment of Jameson was upsetting and at times cruel, but he learns to be kinder and lets himself be vulnerable with Jameson and Bravura.

The homicidal reindeer were the best thing in this book. I was rooting for them and felt happy when they took out the people, especially Miss Scarlet and Reverend Green. The references to Cluedo went over my head though. Still had a fun time with this novella.

These stories are so weird, creative and very critical of capitalism and billionaires. My favorites are The Motorist, My Dad Bought a Space Shuttle, The Apology, and Apartémon. The novelette Ready Player (n+1) was both sad and hilarious. I'm excited to read whatever else M. Shaw puts out in the future.

This was sweet, lovely and very sexy. The way Jillian and Lyle communicated each other's desires and boundaries was nice to read. Also really enjoyed reading about an aromantic and agender sex demon who's a total sweet cinnamon roll. Definitely gonna read more stuff by this author.
