I really enjoyed Erin's storyline in this one. Still have no idea what's going on, but just as intrigued

Really liked the "found family" element with the girls becoming a group and helping each other out. As with other serial graphic novels, I find it difficult to give it a higher rating, because the story is broken up into pieces and each installment feel kind of unfinished. I am intrigued though, so I'm excited to see how the story will develop

Really loved the style of Shannon's writing. This was a great stand-alone fantasy (I really hope there's no sequel). I LOVED the different character arcs and the richness of the world-building. However, I do wish there was a better balance between the build-up and the actual reveals of key moments in the story. I felt there was soooo much build-up, but when it came to the actual reveals themselves, it was over in a few pages (for example Tané's final battle to become a rider)

I'm a sucker for dual perspectives in crime novels, and I really liked Ardler-Olsens writing style. I'm not completely sold on Mørck yet, his character is a bit all over the place (I've also read so many crime novels with the senior detective who is constantly horny and detached from his emotions and, so it's difficult not to compare him to others that I think were written better), but hopefully he'll grow on me in the sequels. I did however love him and Assad as a dynamic duo, and I hope we'll learn more about Assad's background, cause he seems really fascinating.

Quite different from the TV series, for better and for worse. I thought it was just fine, I didn't have such high expectations either. I really liked the Bridgerton family dynamic, and the relationships between all the different siblings. I was surprised at the lack of secondary storylines besides the main one concerning Simon and Daphne, but I kinda liked that too.
