If you are looking to add a holiday novella to your list this December, make sure to jot down 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀. Aligning with her previous releases, readers will find themselves back in a small town - this time at thend only Inn in Starlight Pines.

One of the things that impressed me with Einersons first holiday release [𝑰𝒇 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑨 𝑮𝒓𝒖𝒎𝒑 𝑨 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑾𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕] was her ability to incorporate a substantial amount of sub characters into her novellas without leaving them feel unfinished or rushed, and these subcharacters have often become some of my favourites over the course of her series.  I really enjoyed getting to know Kays character more and giggled at her mischievous behavior, which was reminiscent of Mama Stafford in her Aspen Grove series. I loved the little bits of humor sprinkled about with Winston, and it had me chuckling the entire time.

While I often comment that I miss the 3rd act breakup, which have been absent from most of Einersons prior releases, I have to admit that in this case it was so refreshing to just enjoy the holidays and Lila & Brooks story without things falling apart. Considering this book was only just over 200 pages, I was quite impressed with how well their relationship was paced, which is often a struggle in romantic novellas. I thoroughly enjoyed their interactions and was rooting for them the entire time.

This small town, brothers' best friend, open door spice, and novella was the perfect addition to my holiday reading.
