My low rating is based solely on the awful audiobook narration/production. I enjoyed the story of Alex Cross in this book. I will continue the series but might need to move to physical or eBooks if the narrators don't get better.

Much more violence than I was expecting but I cannot wait to read the next book.

It was too short for the amount of characters and storylines. Took a long time to come together, then ended so quickly.

I haven't finished a 500+ page book this fast in a while. The writing and story are great and I cannot wait to finish the trilogy.

The idea of this story was ruined by poor storytelling. Nothing connected and I spent most of the book wondering why certain chapters just ended with little or no connection to an overall point or even the next chapter.
