Babel by R.F. Kuang

I might have rated this 5 stars. I really enjoyed this story. The writing was good, and the touch of magical realism was so well done. The footnotes were excessive and some were unnecessary. I also wasn't a fan of Robin as a main character. He goes from flat to leading a revolution with very little and quick development. This book is over 500 pages, that aspect could have been done better.

Briana and Jacob are perfect for eachother. With that said, immediately would not rate this 5 stars because of the collar bone thing. I don't get that at all.
