Good short story. Would make for a great Twilight Zone episode.

Okay this book really picks up the plot and runs. It has amazing twists and turns and the last quarter will have you screaming till the end. I'm excited to read the next book, but have no clue how it will connect.

Really good read. The only real struggle I had was being able to follow characters, understand where everyone was, and the final battle. The ending was jaw dropping.

An interesting start to what seems to be a good series. Originally I wasn't sure I was going to stick with it, but it was really good. Grew on me.

So for the majority of the book I was bored. Which is a shame, considering the other two. But the ending is heartbreaking. Not unexpected, but heartbreaking nevertheless.

Okay, the ending pushed this book to a 5. I really enjoyed reading it. I found it stronger then Red Dragon and it continued the story nicely. I do also like that they point out multiple times that Buffalo Bill isn't trans (as I know this book and especially the movie has been used to cast trans people in a negative light).

A very good read. The ending really tripped me up and I didn't expect it, not going to lie. I thought I might be okay not reading the rest for a bit, but I think I'm going to have to go and read the series now.

I really enjoyed this retelling. The thing that made it lose 5 stars was for the first part it was in modern english, then when we entered part 2 (where the play begins) we switch between modern and Shakespearean english. I understand this is to follow the play and its lines, but it really throws off the flow of the book.

This book is going on the shelf. I enjoyed it overall more then Ally's first novel. It walked the line between real and spiritual, and picked a side in the end. I feel like a second read would make the confusing parts more understandable though.
