A really good collection of short stories. The only one I found a bit meh was The Dangers of Smoking in Bed, but all the others were great.

It was less about ghosts and more feminist views, which isn't bad, but I'm here for the ghosts

A really interesting and compelling read. I think it hits on multiple levels of relatability, even though a lot of us haven't been in that specific situation before. It would be interesting if there ever was a sequel, however I don't think it needs one.

Overall an interesting read. A bit too theatrical for a true crime story in my opinion.

The writing and meet cute is very fanfic. There's a good story here, but I can't get past the writing to enjoy it.

It just got boring and I don't want to sit through over 400 more pages of boring. I don't super care for the storylines a part from one or two, and it is very slow which just isn't my jam right now.

A great continuation from the first novel and a great ending. The ending does raise some questions which could be explored in a companion series, but time will tell if it gets written.
The main ding I have is I found the stakes got lesser when
the group traveled back to the Ether
. I would've liked to have seen more
of their powers going wack on Earth
before then, but that's alright.
The ending does leave open with what happens to Gem using the seventh shard, but that's an answer we probably will never get.
And that's okay.

I wish I liked this more than I did. I just found it kind of boring sadly.
