Secrets, secrets, and more secrets...

How far would you go to help a friend you believe to be in danger? A question that four friends don't even have time to ask before they are completely entangled in a web of lies so sticky they will be lucky to get out alive.

When Alison first notices the bruises on Heather's wrist, she doesn't hesitate to let their other friends, Julie and Sarah, know her suspicions of abuse. She's got experience in this. She has to be right, right? After one fateful evening, the four of them get caught up in so many secrets and lies, it's hard for them to tell when exactly they crossed the line from friends to accomplices. All they knew, was they most definitely had. And then the truth started coming out and it changed everything forever.

This book was great and I want to thank NetGalley for the granted wish!

This was my Kindle First book for August and I enjoyed it. It skips from one characters point of view to another in each chapter and a lot of the chapters are pretty short, so until you get to know them, it's hard to get situated in the story. Once the character stories start intertwining though, you start cheering for each one of them in their separate but completely connected journeys. I'd probably recommend this to someone.

I enjoyed this. It was perfect for a day of light reading on my porch. I chuckled to myself a few times and even teared up a bit at the end when it quickly summed everything up into a happy ending. Not an in depth book by any means, and I thought to myself a couple of times "If only people really talked to each other like this...", but definitely cute!
