Normally I would try to stick it out a little longer and hope the story gets better, but I'm quitting while I'm ahead this time. I read up to the end of 2010, and I just hate the entire premise of the book. The moments that are supposed to be cute and romantic are so CRINGE because Laurie and Jack share a best friend/girlfriend. It doesn't come off less as "these individuals are fighting against their destiny of being together" and more as "these two are crappy humans who make bad decisions with no regard for the consequences of their actions."
