Oh my gosh this was the best grumpy/sunshine book. I love Beckett so much. I also appreciated that this audiobook was a dual narration. Those are always nice.

Evie and Beckett are such a good couple. I loved that he was so supportive of finding her happy. I love that she was so supportive of his "quirks." This was such a heartwarming book to read. The spicy scenes were also great - Beckett is clearly a man who knows what he's doing. I'm really looking forward to getting to know his family more. They seem great. I also enjoyed getting to see more of the people of Inglewild. It really gives off Stars Hollow vibes and I'm so here for it.

I think this is my favorite book in this series. I did not see that plot twist coming at all!! I love that each of these books has been so different - the characters have been so different. I was worried book 4 would feel like I was reading the same book over and over again. It definitely wasn't. We see characters from the other books pretty often, and I love that. However, this book while still falling under what I'd consider "romantic suspense" it has different tropes, different circumstances for the characters, and I really appreciated the disability representation in this book. At this point I think I'm going to read Catherine Cowles's entire catalog.

I am so glad this was my last read of 2024. What a nice way to end the year!

Going into this book I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it, because while I do love Lasairiona, I tend to stay away from books where the Domme is female and the submissive is male. I just feel like there tends to be a lot of degradation and stuff in those types of books and it's hard for me to picture myself in the position of the FMC because that is not my role at all. However, Cora is a soft Domme who is stubborn, driven, and knows what she wants in life. I adored her! Sterling was a cinnamon roll and really just wanted to make sure everyone in his life was taken care of.

Their story was so cute, and the healing/self-discovery journeys they both went through were a delight to read. I loved how these characters met. I'm a sucker for marriages of convenience. I also loved seeing characters from previous Protocol books, and ones whose stories haven't been written yet. I'm definitely curious about Slade and Paige. But I also want to know if anything happened between Phoenix and Tessa and what Nyx's story is. I have no doubt that the author will give us these stories when the time is right and I will eagerly wait until then.

I finished this book in less than 24 hours so I feel like that says a lot... This book is a bit darker in ways than books I typically read, mostly because of the non-con aspects. Definitely take the triggers at the beginning of the book seriously.

Going into this book I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Zayden is very unhinged and in the beginning gave Diesel vibes from Den of Vipers. His character had a lot of depth though and I appreciated that. Dominic being the stoic voice of reason throughout the book was also nice to have. I loved this story and I love that it ended in an HEA because I was super nervous it wasn't going to towards the end.

There is a mystery/thriller aspect to this book that all comes to a head near the end. It kept me turning pages when I should have been sleeping. There is probably at least one spicy scene for every chapter or two, so if you're worried about the smut content, it's definitely there. Again, take the author"s trigger warnings seriously.

This was another sweet Christmas read. The characters were relatable and loveable. I loved how involved the side characters were in the story. I'm really looking forward to Beckett's story - he seems so interesting. Layla as well. Especially if we get to see more of Stella and Luca.

This book was probably hands down one of the best sweet friends to lovers stories I've read. Luca was so patient with Stella, and Stella was unapologetically herself throughout the whole thing. The witty banter from everyone was also great.

This was such a sweet read!!! I loved Shae's character development. Her character really resonated with me because I also have a really hard time accepting help. I also appreciated that the kids were part of the story and not just there when it was convenient to the plot. Nick is a 12/10 book boyfriend and definitely swoon worthy. I also appreciated seeing Abbie and Damien again. Also, there was no third act break up which is always a win in any book!

The last 20% of this book was somewhat enjoyable for me. Outside of that I kept reading because I wanted to know what the heck happened and what everyone in the book was referring to. This is definitely a mysterious plot as it keeps you guessing, however the romance is in the last ~100 pages. Up until that point there is a ton of bulllying which is not my jam. The writing was okay, at times it reminded me of my days reading Wattpad when I was younger.

If you're a fan of enemies to lovers (ish) and hardcore bully romance then this book is for you. Assuming all books in this series are similar I will not be continuing. However, I still plan on reading other works by this author.

This was such a cute Christmas read. I loved every minute of this story. Mel's character development was so good, Beat's was as well but I feel like we get more from Mel. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a heartwarming Christmas read. Best is a cinnamon roll and Mel's wit is amazing. I think I'm turning into a Tessa Bailey fan.

Oh my gosh this was such a wholesome book!!! I took a risk stepping out of my usual genre and I'm so glad I did. Each of the characters were so well developed and the story was so good. Daniel Henning did a great job narrating and bringing the story to life.

I know there was some controversy around this book and it's potential ties to some not so great things in history. Personally, I didn't get those vibes at all reading it. I think if anything it was more a narrative on the downfalls of the child welfare system with a feel-good fantasy twist.

I freaking love S. J. Tilly so much. This book made me feel all the things. I'm sad it's the end of the Love Letters series but I get it, it would probably be really redundant to have the same sort of premise for over two books.

I also think we need more books with cats as side characters. This is the second book I've read this year where the cat had a prominent role in the book and I'm so here for it.
