A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

I'm really enjoying this series. I love the way the storyline develops over time, the way we get to know more and more about our favourite characters and their world, and I'm so curious to see what happens next. The battle scenes and monsters and characters that are all involved at the end keep the reader on their toes and really ramp up the ending of this book. Definitely recommend if you've been enjoying this series so far.

I don't really know how to write my review for this one. It was very slow to begin with, lots and lots of world and character building to set the scene and things. The storytelling perspective was different too. I eventually found myself so hooked that I just had to know what happened, but it took me until around the halfway point in the book before I really started to get that feeling. I was completely thrown by the ending and the whole story around the truth of the murder, certainly not what I was expecting.

This book had me absolutely hooked and I cannot wait to read the next one. I really loved how the relationship between Feyre and Rhys developed - I knew there was much to him than originally meeting the eye. I loved the part of this world we were taken into with this book and all the new things we learnt and discovered. I enjoyed all the parts with Cassian, Mor and the team as well - definitely keen to see how some particular things may play out there. And the ending? Well, hooley Dooley - quite a few things happening there which I'm very keen to see how they progress over the next few books. Highly recommend, I'm way more hooked on this series than I expected to be.

I absolutely devoured this book - I love this world that Michael Connelly has created, and I've said it before, and I'll say it again - he's my favourite crime writer. This latest book in the Ballard/Bosch universe gives us plenty - it's got Ballard doing things her own way and digging down, its got Harry in there and we got Maddie too which was fantastic.
I love how all 3 characters really bring something to the story, and even some of the rest of the Open Unsolved team too. A few things going on simultaneously in this, but Connelly has it all play out well and in a way that makes sense. I really liked how everything played out (except of course one sad thing that happens) and I'm so so keen to read more of this world. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this book. To be honest, I was a little put off this series because of certain aspects of the first book in the series, and I haven't read book 2 as yet - but this book was awesome. I loved both our main characters, even if Hemi did frustrate me a little bit at times with her refusal to talk about the past with Dallas. And Dallas, well he's a big loveable teddy bear. Truly loved how this book panned out - I'm a sucker for a good fake relationship book and clearly this one was no change to that.
Our secondary characters were all really great too - both the family and friends of Dallas and Hemi. There were a couple of particular characters that I couldn't wait to see get told off because of the reasons they were the obvious villains in the story.
In the end I really liked how everything played out and also would be keen to read the next book, there were a couple of things that make me curious about a couple of characters and their future stories.
Definitely recommend.

I've had this sitting on my kindle for a couple of years and finally decided to get around to reading it. I can definitely see why this series is so popular - I've already reserved my place in line waiting for books 2 and 3 to become available at the library!
Whilst it is kind of a slow start to things, there is a lot of world and character building that the author has put in place in this book. I was intrigued right from the very start and by the end I was absolutely hooked and couldn't wait to pick the book back up every time I had to put it down.
I liked Tamlin, Lucien, and I think even Rhysand, though there's definitely more to play out where he's concerned given our last scene in the book with him. Really keen to continue the series, definitely recommend.

Gah, I cannot get enough of this series. I'm sad it's come to an end, but I loved watching Kara get her HEA and the progress between all the guys as well. And Hayley Jade is just adorable. There were a few surprises in this and a few people got what was coming to them which was great also. Lots of character development, fantastic world building and the hints for the new series coming out about the Murder Squad. Which I cannot wait for. Highly recommend and I will be hanging for the next release from the Saint View World.

Really enjoyed this one - Dev and Emmabelle seem like an unlikely match, but they go well together once they get past their barriers. Both have been through some terrible things in their lives and parts of the current situation are horrible as well. I liked the way they connected and finally got their heads into gear and on the same page. Enjoyed the ending.

I've loved this series and I'm sad that this is reportedly the final book in the series. Once again we got our typical headstrong and smart Lexi and of course of faves Finn, Rachael, Linc and Neutron are back too. I enjoyed the storyline and the two mysteries running side by side. There were some parts to this which made me emotional and by the end I was really pulling for Lexi. I loved how things played out with Finn and I adored the ending - things really ramped up there in the last part and it all played out perfectly. Highly recommend.
